Account Manager   (Business Development Role)

Chicago, IL

pre-employment screening, data support services, internet mining, SIU,
adjusting, due diligence, surveillance, background checks, locates,
subrogation, digital fingerprinting, hospital and pharmacy canvasses, and much
more. Additionally, our firm offers security consulting and brand protection
services. Our clients include insurance companies, third party administrators,
financial institutions, governmental agencies, volunteer organizations, law
firms, and other businesses of all sizes.

Due to significant growth, they are currently searching
for an experienced account manager in Chicago, IL. You must share our passion
for investigations and display an unwavering commitment to excellence. You must also possess a professional demeanor characterized by integrity, good
character, and mutual respect.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Present
and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.

Identify
sales prospects and contact these and other potential accounts. A minimum
of 30 telephone and email contacts per day should be made on days when in
the office.

Prepare
action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the
number of contacts to be made.

Follow
up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Goal is 10+
appointments per week.

Update
CRM (Salesforce) on a daily basis detailing sales activity, events,
meetings, and adherence to goals.

Prepare
presentations, proposals and sales contracts.

Develop
and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.

Establish
and maintain current client and potential client relationships.

Occasionally
identify and resolve client concerns.

Communicate
new product and service opportunities, special developments, information,
or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.

Coordinate
company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.

Participate
in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and association
meetings.

Follow-up
for collection of payment on selected accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS (must meet all below criteria):

Express
strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability
to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver
presentations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of
advertising and sales promotion techniques.

Visibility
requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive
company image to the public.

Work
requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This
requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license.

Work
requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight
travel.

Previous
sales and/or industry experience
