This position reports to the Manager of Business Development and works closely with all departments to formulate strategies and solutions. You will help drive underwriting strategies as the client evolve from a startup into a multi-line, countrywide underwriting organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support agents as they transition from prospect to active, including demos, meetings, management of workflows, and otherwise supporting the agents production.
Advocate for agents, resolving any issues, through leadership in an agency collaborative to address agents concerns, product needs, and suggestions.
Maintain a high-level view of customer service, thoroughly understanding the underwriting guidelines and customer service standards to ensure quality care and service.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
3+ years of P&C commercial lines insurance experience.
Experience working with retail agency partners.
Previous experience in business development or as an agency advocate helpful.
Previous experience more national versus bound by geographic territory.
Sales aptitude is a must, though there is no production component.
