Assistant Vice President-Programs
This client who is an Insurance carrier specializing in
commercial program business.
Immediate Need: Assistant
Vice President Lead Program Manager, to assist the Chief Underwriting Officer
in the managing and developing of various property and casualty programs.
In conjunction with internal departments, i.e. Actuarial,
Regulatory Compliance, Finance, Claims and IT, the AVP will be responsible for
the quality, integrity and profitability of assigned programs and in the
development of new programs.
This includes a strong focus on conducting regularly
scheduled underwriting audits of assigned programs and conducting the due
diligence of new prospective programs.
To qualify, the appropriate candidate must have ten years of
proven Primary underwriting experience-Multi Line with a strong niche in
General Liability and Automobile.
Experience in multiple classes of business is highly
Candidates must come from a property and casualty insurance
carrier in a leadership Programs role.
Three to five years of proven Program Management experience.
Excellent negotiating, communication, and organizational
skills to go with a sound technical and business development background.
Placing and negotiating Facultative insurance a plus.
Compensation to 175K base+ (DOE), bonus program, full
benefits package. College degree strongly preferred; advanced degree a plus;
designations a plus (CPCU, CIC, AU).
Based on experience other locations across the U.S. could be
considered as a remote employee.
