Commercial Lines Leadership Opportunity
This client is a Retail property and casualty/group benefits insurance agency/brokerage with national footprint is seeking an Assistant Vice President/Team Leader for the Chicago region, responsible for supervising, developing and mentoring the Commercial Account Team which includes Account Executives and Account Managers.
You will maintain full responsibility for the day to day servicing platforms, relationship building with clients and carriers, branch compliance policies and human resource functions.
The leader who is selected will be responsible for the continued growth, both financial and professional of the branch and team members and continuing to establish themselves as a key player in the Chicago marketplace.
This position also includes providing service and account management on key accounts, overall book 1M in revenue.
To qualify, you will have a minimum of 7+ years of direct commercial lines coverage and account executive level experience.
Generalist background for commercial and professional lines, including small to larger accounts.
Proven leadership experience coming from the retail agency plant. Excellent organizational, communication, technical and management skills, with a proven background establishing carrier/underwriter relationships.
College degree. P&C License. Designations(CPCU, AU, RPLU, CIC, etc.) a strong plus.
Proven background maintaining and expanding profitable books of business and meeting the needs of diverse clients.
EPIC software background required.
