Responsibilities:
The Marketing Underwriting Specialist in our Chicago office will focus on serving the assigned agents in the region.
In a hybrid work setup offering flexibility, candidates from Chicago, southern Wisconsin, or western Michigan are welcome to apply.
Preference will be given to those with established agency relationships in the Chicago area.
Our client specializes in Middle Market accounts starting at $50,000, with key sectors including Construction, Manufacturing, Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, and Allied Health.
Responsibilities include managing and expanding our existing book of business from our exclusive network of elite agents in Chicago.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills and proficiency in middle market commercial Marketing, Sales, and Underwriting.
Qualifications:
Our client seeks individuals with a proven track record of driving profitable commercial insurance sales, along with at least 5 years of technical Underwriting experience in the Middle Market segment.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record, as travel within the assigned region will be necessary, constituting approximately 25%-40% of the role.
