As a Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing your assigned territory, cultivating robust agency relationships, and achieving established premium and project objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Leadership: Lead your territory with a strategic focus, leveraging your team to implement effective business strategies.
- Agency Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key agencies to enhance collaboration and drive business success.
- Achieve Business Objectives: Produce the budgeted volume and policy count of profitable lines of business within your assigned territory.
- Premium Volume Growth: Utilize pricing and binding authority to increase premium volume and policy count for profitable lines of business.
- Prospecting and Appointments: Actively prospect for new opportunities and secure appointments to expand business reach.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in Marketing, specifically within a property and casualty company.
- Commercial Lines Knowledge: Proficient understanding of Commercial Lines is essential.
- Location: Currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Northern Virginia area.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Independence: Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational ability with a proven mastery of planning.
- Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to successfully achieving desired goals.
- Travel: Must be available for moderate travel, including overnight travel.
- Industry Familiarity: Experience working with Independent Insurance Agents is required.
