MGA / Wholesale Manager
Excess & Surplus Lines Wholesale Brokerage and MGA facility with a long history of success with multiple locations is expanding their product and services platform nationally and is seeking a Sales/MGA Manager
This is a new opportunity being created to expand the existing New England territory.
Major areas of focus will be on brokerage sales, mga underwriting, agency and carrier development, staff hiring/training and development, as well as taking on additional senior leadership responsibilities.
The qualified Sales/MGA Manager will have proven success in running and developing excess & surplus lines operations, preferably coming from the wholesale and mga side, with a proven track record of mga underwriting and oversight of mga underwriters, although a mix of E&S brokerage and carrier excess & surplus lines leadership will be strongly considered.
The Sales/MGA Manager will additionally be responsible for new business production and have complete responsibility for Profit/Loss.
College degree preferred.
P&C License required. C
