Benefits Consultant responsibilities:
You will manage complex accounts, including multi-site,
multi-funding, and multi-line
coverages, while working at a strategic level to develop and
retain consultative, partnership

and Client resources in managing aspects of renewal and new

Maintains open and clear communication channels with clients
and the internal team.
Provides day-to-day collaboration, open communication, and
feedback with domestic and
international Employee Benefits Services team. Provides
day-to-day assistance and
updating in electronic systems and government required
reports / audits.
summarizes, and develops strategic solutions on an on-going basis.
Coordinates delivery of 5500s and summary annual reports for
clients. Informs clients of
ERISA, COBRA, and FMLA compliance measures.
Compiles training material, marketing collateral, and
presentations for new prospects.
Follows up with new prospects in order to secure business.
Manages timely preparation
and production of all elements of presentations for client
meetings, which are professional,
grammatically correct, and without substantial spelling
errors, and properly represent the
Performs management of ongoing client service relationship
for 8 – 15 clients, with
approximately $1 million in revenue.
Designs and creates Member / Employer communications such
as, but not limited to,
member benefit guides, enrollment announcements, health
& wellness initiatives, e-mail
blasts, flyers & bulletins, carrier announcements, and
compliance & regulations.
Desired (not required) criteria include: Bachelors Degree
preferred or equivalent work experience.
7 or more years of life and health insurance brokerage
Industry specific experience related to assigned clients
(e.g., financial, aviation, non-profit, etc.) is helpful in understanding clients' specific needs and
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
