Benefits Consultant responsibilities:

You will manage complex accounts, including multi-site,
multi-funding, and multi-line

coverages, while working at a strategic level to develop and
retain consultative, partnership

relationships with customers and prospects.

You will work in conjunction with Team Leader, Producers,

and Client resources in managing aspects of renewal and new
business.

In this role you will be leading by example at the start of
the renewal process, approximately six months out from renewal date, exploring
and understanding issues facing client organizations and the client's claim
history, both of which may impact on the types and amount of coverage sought.

You analyze risks facing the client. Lead the yearly renewal
process through the process of marketing and executing renewals in a timely
manner.

Generating accurate renewal rates, terms, and conditions.

Install new group insurance contracts for existing clients
or new clients effectively utilizing

resources to match client needs.

Conduct employee meetings. Develops employee memorandum
drafts for client to communicate annual renewal changes, enrollment procedures,
miscellaneous benefit changes and / or clarifications.

Maintains open and clear communication channels with clients
and the internal team.

Provides day-to-day collaboration, open communication, and
feedback with domestic and

international Employee Benefits Services team. Provides
day-to-day assistance and

updating in electronic systems and government required
reports / audits.

 Identifies problems,
summarizes, and develops strategic solutions on an on-going basis.

Coordinates delivery of 5500s and summary annual reports for
clients. Informs clients of

ERISA, COBRA, and FMLA compliance measures.

Compiles training material, marketing collateral, and
presentations for new prospects.

Follows up with new prospects in order to secure business.
Manages timely preparation

and production of all elements of presentations for client
meetings, which are professional,

grammatically correct, and without substantial spelling
errors, and properly represent the

company.

Performs management of ongoing client service relationship
for 8 – 15 clients, with

approximately $1 million in revenue.

Designs and creates Member / Employer communications such
as, but not limited to,

member benefit guides, enrollment announcements, health
& wellness initiatives, e-mail

blasts, flyers & bulletins, carrier announcements, and
compliance & regulations.

Qualifications for
consideration:

Desired (not required) criteria include: Bachelors Degree
preferred or equivalent work experience.

7 or more years of life and health insurance brokerage
experience.

Industry specific experience related to assigned clients
(e.g., financial, aviation, non-profit, etc.) is helpful in understanding clients' specific needs and
language.

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
