Insurance Industry Observations for June

By Mike McDonough

It may be hard to believe, but we’re already approaching the 4th of July! Summer is here and the job market is in full swing. This week we have over 100 new jobs on our board and are looking for qualified talent for over 600 openings across the country. While we’re still seeing a wide variety of jobs along the coasts, it’s the middle of the country that’s currently bursting at the seams with opportunity. Be sure to check our job board frequently, because across the U.S., we’re seeing great jobs come in each and every week.

Customer Service is hiring for Account Mangers and Account Executives all throughout Illinois and Michigan. From Anne Arbor and Saginaw to Chicago and Des Moines, Iowa, the Midwest is full of Customer Service opportunities this month. We also have jobs to fill in Florida and Pennsylvania, so be sure to check in on the East Coast too.

Sales/Marketing continues to be a hot area with over two-dozen openings currently on our board. The Midwest is once again well represented with positions in Fort Worth, Nashville, Houston, Milwaukee, Des Moines, Anne Arbor and more. We need Account Managers and Executives, Producers, Brokers and Marketing Managers to join promising teams. There are numerous opportunities throughout New York and the East Coast as well, so don’t miss out.

If you’re in Detroit, Denver, Chicago, Milwaukee, Lansing or St. Louis, you’ll find abundant Underwriting opportunities currently in your area. Those cities aren’t the only ones in the Midwest with jobs available right now, so if a Supervisor, Product Manager or Commercial Underwriting job would interest you, be sure to check out our board. Looking for something more tropical than Michigan? We’re filling a few positions located in Hawaii, so submit your resume and say “aloha” to a new opportunity.

We also have four executive-level positions searching for qualified leaders to guide teams in Management and Director roles. If you’re looking to make the jump to a boardroom or want a new challenge in your executive career, contact us today so we can discuss these opportunities with you. Already an executive? Make sure you read our current blog about the importance of vacations for senior leadership. Summer is a time to relax, unwind and recharge, but if you’re on the lookout for the right career move, it can also be an excellent time to take the next step. Send us your resume and check back to our job board frequently so your ideal job doesn’t pass you by.

All the best,

Mike McDonough & The GSR Team
