Insurance Observations for May

Hiring season is heating up across the country
Memorial Day has passed, and for most of us that signals the unofficial beginning of summer. As the
season sets in, we’re seeing a significant increase in Broker/Agency jobs across Texas and in the east
throughout New York and New Jersey. There are positions across the board, from the associate to the
director level, so whether you’re just starting out, or looking at an executive position, there are openings
to fit your career.
If you’re looking for a career in Claims, we’re seeing a multitude of opportunities on every coast, from
California, to Texas and Florida, and along the east coast from New Jersey up to Maryland. Most of these
positions are recently posted, so make sure to take a look.
We have new positions in Sales and Marketing along the east and west coasts and throughout the
Midwest. Demand for these positions continues to be high, so if you are looking for a career change,
now could be the perfect time. Loss Control and Risk Management jobs are popping up all around the
country, so no matter your location, we have openings that could fit your needs.
Once again our biggest area of opportunity is in Underwriting. This month we are seeing a high number
of open positions across the east coast and throughout the Midwest. There is demand at every level, so
if you are looking for a new challenge or even a career shift, there has never been a better time to
transition into the field of underwriting.
At General Search and Recruitment, we have openings from entry level to executive talent. Want to
