November Insurance Industry Observations
As the holidays quickly approach, we’d like to take a moment to say thank you to all the amazing companies and candidates that we work with every day. This has been such a strong year for the insurance industry. Because of to the visionary companies and talented individuals in the field; we know that it will continue to be a strong area for many years to come. At General Search & Recruitment, we see the potential and accomplishments first hand, and continue to be humbled to be a part of your incredible accomplishments.
There are lots of job openings to be thankful for this month as well. The Broker/Agency field has over 20 openings at the manager, analyst and underwriting levels and these opportunities span from Clearwater, Florida all the way to Los Angeles California. The jobs are all fairly new, so make sure you get a first crack at these positions.
Claims continues to be a hot area for hiring right now as well. The companies we’re working with have multiple openings across the United States, so wherever you call home there is likely an opportunity in your area. Whether you’re a supervisor, adjustor or examiner, there are listings that fit every experience level.
There’s plenty to be thankful for this month if you’re an underwriter. We have nearly three dozen openings in this field and it continues to be the most in-demand area for us. We have openings in Florida, Iowa, New Jersey and California just to name a few. It doesn’t matter what stage of your career you are in, because we’re seeing opportunities everywhere from the assistant level all the way up to executive officer. New postings are coming in every day, so be sure to check back regularly.
Although hiring tends to slow down this time of year, we still have openings in customer service, sales and marketing, operations, legal and more. And some of these companies are offering great benefits to get the right people. They’re not just focusing on millennials either – baby boomers have become the focus of HR departments everywhere.
