About the Role:

Are you a willing to travel sales professional with a strong commitment to the insurance industry, looking to lead in the cutting-edge world of crop insurance?

 Our client, an innovative AI decision platform, is revolutionizing the crop insurance industry by empowering growers and agents with predictive insights to optimize revenue and mitigate risk.

We’re searching for a dynamic, entrepreneurial sales professional to expand our client’s platform adoption across the market and this will include regular travel to California.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for combining data-driven technology with deep insurance expertise to deliver transformative results for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a robust sales and distribution strategy to introduce the platform to crop insurance agents, AIPs, and growers.
  • Relationship Building: Establish strong partnerships with growers and insurance agents, offering tailored insights and leveraging the platform to demonstrate its value.
  • Client Onboarding: Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with crop insurance agents and approved insurance providers (AIPs).
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide detailed platform demonstrations and expert advice, showcasing predictive insights and solutions to both agents and growers.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Professional Expertise: MBA or insurance designation (CPCU, CIC, ARM) preferred, with 3+ years of experience in crop insurance sales or business development.
  • Sales Success: Proven ability to drive sales growth and build long-term client relationships, particularly with crop insurance agents and specialty crop growers.
  • Tech-Savvy: Strong understanding of data-driven platforms and their application in the insurance space.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid grasp of crop insurance solutions and the ability to explain predictive insights in an accessible manner.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced startup environments.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
