Large Group Underwriter
NY,NJ, CT

You would be the single-point-of-contact for sales teams and assigned customers, delivering insights and recommendations to sales in order to aid customer acquisition/retention while maintaining performance goals. Customers will typically be the least complex, requiring more routine type analysis. The position will collaborate with cross functional team members on client-level quotes and function as a trusted adviser by providing financial and risk management support to sales as well as strategic insight.
Background Profile:
Understanding of health products, services, risk assessment and techniques
• Competent in their knowledge of Self-funding and other alternative funding mechanisms (Stop Loss, ASO)
• Supportive, Consultative and Solution Oriented
• Strong Oral and Written Communications skills
• Ability to work effectively with little supervision
• Have an understanding of analytics and the ability to incorporate the data into effective pricing models providing insights and recommendations
• Excellent time management and project management skills
• Someone who can meet challenges and provide what’s needed to "get things done"
