Vice President of Commercial Claims (Officer Level)

Our client seeks a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Vice President of Commercial Claims.
This officer-level role is with a leading national carrier, specializing in excess and surplus lines (E&S), though prior E&S experience is not a requirement.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in commercial property and casualty insurance, with a strong focus on heavy casualty claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of claims managers and leaders, ensuring the effective and efficient handling of complex commercial claims.
- Oversee the development and execution of claims strategies, with a particular emphasis on litigation management and technical accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement in claims processes and outcomes, leveraging your extensive industry knowledge and experience.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in claims management.
- Proven experience managing other claims managers and leaders in a commercial P&C environment, particularly in heavy casualty claims.
- Extensive litigation management experience and deep technical expertise in commercial claims.
- Experience working exclusively with insurance carriers is required.
Location Options:
This position is in Phoenix, AZ.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary of $225,000.
