Senior Account Executive – Employee Benefits Location:
Chicago, IL
Are you an experienced professional in employee benefits consulting? Our client seeks a Senior Account Executive to join their team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you'll engage with clients daily, foster strong relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor on benefit plans. Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships, serving as a subject matter expert on Health & Welfare Benefits.
• Coordinate project timelines to ensure timely client deliverables.
• Utilize online tools to develop quotations and propose benefit strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory issues to advise clients effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship as needed.
• Oversee open enrollment processes and conduct compliance audits.

Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of benefits administration, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and anticipate client needs.
• Strong time management and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Confident presentation and public speaking skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Over 8 years of industry experience with a focus on health and welfare consulting.
• Valid Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License required.
• GBA or CEBS Certification is advantageous.
